XTrack vehicle scales allow weighing of municipal waste at the collection point. Unlike drive-on scales, which determine the total mass of the collected waste as it enters the processing facility, on-board scales determine the mass of the waste separately at each collection point.

"The XTrack on-board dynamic scale (Digi Sens) is a precise (weighing resolution from 1 kg), automatic measurement system for individual loads, which is an integral part of the truck's lift. The waste is weighed independently of the activities of the crew, without slowing down the loading mechanism. Therefore, the dynamic scale does not affect the efficiency of the route.

The waste is weighed using the patented Digi Sens vibrating wire technology. This solution ensures high stability of measurement parameters over time and resistance to interference.
If a waste identification system (RFID identification) is implemented together with the on-board scale, the weight of the waste is automatically assigned to its producers, even when loading two containers (single-chamber trucks) or three or more containers (multi-chamber trucks). This solution makes it possible to carry out collections on a single route under different contracts where weighing of municipal waste is required.

This capability, combined with waste identification (RFID identification), makes it possible to accurately allocate the waste weighing result to each individual producer. This is not possible with static scales installed under the body. 1 - Weighing computer. 2 - Load cell installation points.
Every XTrack dynamic truck scale comes with built-in support for the open CleANOpen protocol, managed by the independent organisation CAN in Automation (CiA), of which XTrack is a registered member (we can legally use the protocol). For users of these on-board scales, CleANOpen means the ability to integrate the dynamic scale with any GPS monitoring system that supports this protocol
Digi Sens vehicle scales are equipped with a XTrack remote diagnostics module. We continuously monitor the condition of the scale's dynamic components and detect instances that may require user attention, such as overloading of the truck's lift.

Whatever the application for the dynamic scale, XTrack, which has exclusive distribution rights for it in Poland, offers comprehensive warranty and post-warranty service. It also offers conformity assessment and recalibration services with the assistance of officials from the District Offices of Measure.
Static weighing is performed using non-automatic scales, typically mounted between the chassis frame and the body. This type of vehicle scale records the increasing mass of successive loads without any additional operator intervention. To enable waste to be weighed at individual collection points, the vehicle operator resets the weight display before each subsequent waste load.
Similar to the dynamic scale on a refuse truck, the static on-board scale, for example on a hooklift truck, allows the mass of the weighed waste to be linked to its producer. Waste identification (RFID identification) is carried out using the driver's on-board terminal or automatically using a UHF RFID identification system.
Yes, you can! The XTrack system makes it possible. We most often use this configuration of vehicle scale for municipal vehicles with combined bodies. For example, refuse collection vehicles with a door for loading containers and/or bulky waste, or with a hydraulic loading system (HDS) equipped with a standard lift for handling containers from 120 to 1,100 litres. In this case, a static scale is installed under the body, while a dynamic scale is mounted on the lift.
