Omega respects the privacy of website users and pursuant to art. 173 of the Act of 16 July 2004, the Telecommunications Law (Polish Journal of Laws – Dz.U. of 2004. No. 171, item 1800, as amended), hereby informs that the company’s websites use “cookies”.

What are “cookies”?

“Cookies” are computer data, in particular text files stored on the user’s equipment, which are designed for use with Omega websites. “Cookies” are used to recognize the terminal device of the user and to properly display the website content adapted to user’s preferences.

What is the purpose of using “cookies” by the website?

“Cookies” on Omega website are used to personalize the information displayed by the website and to adapt its content to user’s needs, as well as to analyse the preferences of website users. Omega uses “cookies” to customize and improve the operation of its website and to measure the effectiveness of website functions. “Cookies” are also used to analyse the preferences of website users. Omega does not use “cookies” to contact users by mail, e-mail, or phone.

Omega makes every effort to protect safety of its website users.

Omega gathers only the personal data (within the meaning of the Act of 29 August 1997 on personal data protection) necessary to offer and provide services, after a user voluntarily provides the personal data via the website. Detailed rules for processing of user’s personal data by Omega and a clause expressing the consent for the processing of provided personal data are specified by the relevant functions of the website.

The administrator of personal data of website users, within the meaning of the Act of 29 August 1997 on personal data protection, is always “Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Usługowe Omega Spółka z o.o.” based in Gdansk. Personal data gathered by Omega will be processed only for the purpose for which it was provided, in a manner consistent with the consent given and in accordance with relevant regulations. You have the right to access your personal data and correct it as well as to provide a written, justified request to cease the processing of your personal data.
